National Exams
Hand-picked subject tutors to prepare your child for their GCSEs, A-Levels or IB exams, with superior tuition delivered in a fun, engaging and motivating environment.
William Clarence Education provides superior tuition for children facing national examinations aged 16 to 18.
GCSE
The number of subjects studied at GCSE can be overwhelming. Our GCSE tutors are hand picked subject specialists who deliver fun and engaging lessons, with plenty of practical and emotional support for students. It’s not easy being a teenager – we help your child stay motivated and on course for the best possible results.
A Levels
There is a big jump from GCSE to A Level study, and many students would benefit from extra private tuition at this stage. Our experienced and highly qualified A Level tutors can provide weekly tuition and/or intensive revision sessions. Your child will find themselves tested and challenged in the best way possible as they get to grips with the demands of an A Level syllabus.
International Baccalaureate
Students taking the International Baccalaureate (IB) need to demonstrate a wide breadth of knowledge, so our IB specialist tutors are adept at building up a child’s weaker areas as well as honing their strengths. The IB expects students to be independent, self-sufficient learners; our tutors can provide invaluable assistance with time management, research skills, TOK, CAS and the extended essay.
As well as the academic demands placed on them, A Level and IB students must also juggle deciding on the right university and going through the UCAS process – with William Clarence Education, advice and guidance on the university application process is all part of the service.
Next Steps
We always begin any placement with our unique in-house assessment to ensure we approach your situation with a clear idea of your child’s current academic level, interests and future ambitions.
Our Head of Tutoring will be able to outline how we have effectively advised families in past cases and their results, the school's and academic programmes we work with; and ultimately how we could help your family giving you a range of options to think on prior to making a decision on how to proceed.
