New Publication: Independent School Admissions Plus
Launching 16 May 2019, ‘Independent School Admissions Plus’ is a new, free print and online resource published by William Clarence Education to guide UK marketers and independent school recruitment registrars to admissions success.
In an Independent School sector where competition for students is ever increasing, it is more important than ever for the marketing and admissions professionals to become front and centre. With many schools relying on education agencies more focused on commission than quality or fit, William Clarence Education vowed in April 2019 to tackle some of the threats currently facing the sector. This started with the launch of our dedicated School Services branch earlier this month.
Among a host of other online and print resources being developed, School Admissions Plus sets out to help schools consider all key factors that can contribute to developing a coherent, sustainable and effective student recruitment and school communications message. The publication incorporates a range of thoughtful and provocative articles, with leading names in the international education sector heading up the editorial board – including Ian Hunt, Dr Helen Wright, Hugh Monro and Peter Tait - covering a wide range of topics and providing valuable insights and examples of best practice from open days, admissions data and software, new regions, tier 4 visas brand positioning and bursary programmes.
This new magazine is our way of empowering marketing and admissions staff within independent schools to bring their voice to the front of all senior leadership teams in independent schools. The launch of School Admissions Plus is the first in a series of initiatives in the pipeline for William Clarence, with other vital resources, events, awards and services to be rolled out by the firm in the coming months.
An independent school is a business, much like any other, and in order for that business to thrive, it must be commercially-minded. With the launch of our new School Services branch, William Clarence Education aims to provide the same unrivalled level of experience and expertise we have used to guide domestic and international families through the UK school admissions process, in order to support admissions departments in providing an informative, smooth, and positive experience for those families from the other side.
Admissions Plus provides a highly targeted audience - key leaders within 1400 UK independent schools from preparatory to senior schools, British international schools overseas and hand selected British Council Educational Agents.
Digital copies will all be sent to all schools termly, with newsletters and social media outlets carrying the title. A link to the digital copy will also be on the main William Clarence website, all email footers and on all press releases surrounding the magazine
The first issue of Independent School Admissions Plus Magazine will be on the desks of admissions staff and marketers, and available for online download from 16 May 2019. Highlights from this first issue include an insightful piece by Independent Education expert and passionate Grenfell campaigner, David Goodhew, addressing the issue of social mobility in UK education and the increasing need for bursaries for less privileged students.
