Dr. Helen Wright
Dr Helen Wright is an internationally recognised educationalist who until very recently led top UK independent schools. In her two decades in UK independent education, she taught in co-ed and all-boys’ schools, and spent 12 years as an energetic Headmistress of UK girls’ schools, including the renowned St Mary’s Calne. During this time her commitment to education was recognised in her appointment as President of the Girls’ Schools Association and as Vice-Chair of the Independent Schools Council. She was Tatler’s ‘Best Head of a Public School’ in 2010-11. These national roles enabled her to become extremely familiar with countless schools across the UK and internationally.
Her prime focus is a deep care for the needs of the individual child, and she has always spent considerable time understanding young people and their parents, helping them to navigate school life from admission to examinations, and to make the decisions that really make a positive difference for their futures.
