Beatrix was educated at Westminster School and Cambridge University. She has extensive experience of working with students as both tutor and mentor, guiding them through the school application process from the start of their preparations until they accept a place and start at their new school.
Specialising in working in super-selective school applications, each year Beatrix’s students make up a significant proportion of 11+, 13+ and 16+ offers made at schools such as Westminster, Eton, St Paul’s, KCS and Godolphin & Latymer. They are frequently awarded scholarships and awards as part of their applications (including the King’s Scholarship at Eton). She has extensive experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, including highly able students who have SEN such as ASD or ADHD.
She works with a wide range of students internationally and in the UK, via Skype and in-person and has taught in excess of 10,500 hours of one-to-one lessons as well as classroom revision courses for 11+, ISEB Pretest and CEM exams.
Beatrix also writes a wide range of educational resources, including several books of 11+ practice questions published by Letts. She regularly writes materials in hardcopy, online and on video for courses and agencies to use in assessing and stretching students preparing for 11+ and 13+ exams.
