The William Clarence Education Group, one of the leading providers of consultancy, admissions and recruitment solutions to the education sector, has announced a significant investment from Brendon Street Advisors.

Steve Spriggs, managing director of William Clarence Education, said: “Over the past 18 months, we have seen tremendous engagement across all of our brands and I’m delighted with our new investment partner.  This will help us reach more families, schools, leaders and teachers across our  network on a daily basis.”

The three parts of the group offer a range of services and digital products that stretch across the education sector, with a broad customer base spanning individual families, major corporations, UK state, independent and international schools worldwide.

William Clarence Education provides educational entrance advice from nursery to postgraduate level to both domestic and international families. Our consultants offer advice across UK independent schools and universities, helping to find the right solutions for students, showcasing UK education as a flagship domestic export.

Since its 2020 launch, the group’s publishing division - schoolmanagementplus.com - has transformed into a thriving  community of content, career advice and opinion with a 150% increase in traffic year on year; with plans to increase presence in the state sector.

Kampus24 provides a range of recruitment and admissions infrastructure solutions to schools around the world. Following a successful pilot phase, it is set for ambitious expansion to help schools and institutions save time and money becoming more focused with their admissions and recruitment strategy.

Steve Spriggs added: “Our Kampus and SMP platforms have seen significant usage from schools needing more transparent results from their budget and process; against a challenging staff and student recruitment backdrop.

“Equally, the interest in UK independent school and university entrance is strong and as the process for the most competitive UK institutions gets more complex, the demand for top-tier advice and consultancy is only going to get stronger.

“These structural tailwinds to the group over the coming years will be powerful and it was very important for us to partner with an investor who shared our ambition and view of the sector long term”.

Nigel Wray, from Brendon Street Advisors, added: “We are delighted to be joining William Clarence as a long-term investor. We have followed the business for a while and genuinely believe it delivers a vital role in the field of education. They are very much a trusted brand, and we too trust them to build a very good business.”
