Margaret began her career teaching all disciplines in Art in UK independent schools and ran several Art faculties. As a Head of Sixth Form and Head of Careers she then spent over 30 years developing and expanding the career support for students in notable independent schools overseas with the final role being at Harrow Bangkok, before returning to the UK. 

Margaret is an experienced university advisor with particular interest in guiding students with regards to enrichment and subject depth. She developed a programme for gifted and talented students to extend different thinking skills to encompass 360 degree thinking and creative lateral approaches. She is experienced in providing mock interviews for Oxbridge candidates and Medic interviews, and really enjoys guiding students with their personal statements and discussing their passions and interests with them. As a former Head of Secondary and Director of Staff Development Margaret has also given training to teachers regarding university advice, writing academic references and provision and support for gifted and talented students. 

Margaret is passionate and enthusiastic about how students are prepared for their post-18 education choices in order that they can realise their ambitions and that the ‘best fit’ is found for the student with regards to course and university choice. She has extensive knowledge of universities and the courses on offer and has an active network with universities in the UK.
